On 15 May 2026, at the Conference of UNESCO Chairs in Portugal, GeoAtlant-AI&BI was presented within the framework of the UNESCO Chair “Biodiversity and Sustainability in Atlantic Islands”. The presentation included an overview of the project and a case study from WP4 - Viewpoints as Ecotourism Resources, highlighting the role of geospatial analysis and landscape interpretation in supporting sustainable ecotourism in the Azores.
